British outdoor clothing supplier, Rohan, is urging outdoor enthusiasts to donate their unwanted outdoor clothing to their Gift Your Gear campaign.
The clothing retailer will then donate all usable gear to community organisations, youth groups and charities working with young people in the outdoors. All donations will be reused for their original purpose and not traded or sent to a landfill.
As well as making a difference to various charitable organisations, anyone making a donation will also be offered a 15% discount on their next purchase made at the same time.
Gift Your Gear founder, Sarah Howcroft, said:
Most outdoor gear will last much longer than we need it to, its full potential is never realised. The outdoor gear you donate will make a real difference to community organisations, youth groups and charities who receive it.
Since the campaign began in 2012, Gift Your Gear has donated 90,000 items, supporting over 1,000 community organisations, youth groups and charities.
