Built in 1958 by the legendary inventor of the Bellini and owner of Venice’s iconic Harry’s Bar, the Belmond Cipriani Hotel dominates the approach to Giudecca Island, overlooking the Venice lagoon, with its unique views of St Mark’s Square. Getting there

4.3 miles south of Marco Polo International Airport, you can travel by taxi or water taxi to the city centre. The Belmond Cipriani’s private launch takes 7 minutes from St Mark’s Square. There is also a private marina.
